Sahara Charitable Trust is created out of the generous contribution of Major P.S. Toor to server the citizens of India without discrimination of cast, religion, creed and gender. Trust was registered under Indian Trust Act 1882 at Patiala, Punjab on 14 Jun 2019. The main objectives of the Trust are to transform the lives of peoples in India through education by providing grants, scholarship for pursuing education and other form of financial assistance to needy and deserving students.

Trust helps as supporting arm and extend a helpng hand to the people affected with natural calamites and disasters in various parts of the country.

Trust is helping financially backward families in organizing community marriage (Samuhik Vivah samaroh) ceremonies.
